About LEGO SERIOUS PLAY
Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, owner of the LEGO® GROUP, and two business school professors, Bart Victor and Johan Roos, got an idea for better way of leading and strategy making. They founded a company with the purpose of developing the method.
Robert Rasmussen an expert in learning and development was involved and encharged of making the dream come true, meaning developing the methodology and a facilitator training program. Per Kristiansen joined and shortly after that the method was developed and first training started, the year was 2001. The LEGO Company was never involved in the development of LSP. It was one of the companies that were used as a research case in the development and one of the first to start using it for its strategy making. Robert and Per founded the Association of Master Trainers in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and nowadays the methodology is delivered through a global community of facilitators, certified by the association.
